Who we are
Virinchi Hospitals is a multi-speciality hospital in Hyderabad,Telangana, offering 29 clinical specialities under one roof — from preventive health checks to complex transplant surgery. We believe a hospital exists for its people: patients, families and the staff who care for them.
What we do
Care is organised the way you look for it, in 9 clinical groups: Heart & Circulation, Kidney & Urinary, Digestive & Liver, Brain, Nerves & Mind, Bones & Movement, Cancer Care, Women & Children, General & Specialist Medicine and Emergency & Critical Care. The hospital itself
One building, approximately 350,000 sq ft, in Banjara Hills — no shuttle between blocks, no corridor you cannot walk end to end. Inside it: 350 beds, of which 140 are intensive care;11 modular operation theatres plus 1 minor theatre; 2 cath labs, one ceiling-mounted; and 7 procedure rooms.
Diagnostics under the same roof
- 3T MRI. 3 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging, including functional MRI.
- 128-slice CT. 128-slice dual-energy spectral computed tomography scanner.
- 3D mammography. Digital breast tomosynthesis, with 2D and 3D visualisation.
- DEXA. Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry for bone densitometry.
- 3D Doppler ultrasound. Three-dimensional Doppler ultrasonography.
- Cath labs. 2 catheterisation labs, one ceiling-mounted.
- Integrated OT-CSSD transplant complex. Modular theatres with co-located sterilisation, for transplant surgery.
Accreditation and teaching
- NABH. National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers — hospital-wide accreditation.
- NABL. National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories — clinical laboratory accreditation.
- NBE. National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences — recognised for dnb postgraduate training.
Teaching is part of what the hospital does, not a badge — residency programmes run alongside the clinical departments.
Transplant and research
The kidney transplant programme runs in collaboration with the Renal Research Institute, New York, and a liver transplant programme covers assessment, surgery and long-term follow-up in the same building — transplant care has its own pages.
