Patient Self Services
The things you can do from your phone, and the exact place each one happens.
Most of what people ring the hospital for can be done from a phone: pulling a report, paying a bill, booking or moving an appointment, ordering medicines again. This page lists each one and sends you straight to the place it happens.
Several of these open the hospital's patient system, which the hospital calls the Virinchi Web Portal, at mserve.virinchihospitals.com. It looks different from this website because it is a different application, but it is Virinchi's own and it is where your record is kept. The hospital also has a phone app, VHealth, that reaches the same record. Both use the user ID and password you were given when you registered.
None of this is for an emergency. If there is chest pain, breathlessness, heavy bleeding or someone is unconscious, do not book and wait. Call 040 4699 9999, or the ambulance on 1800 2024, and come in.
Get a test report
Lab and imaging reports go into your record. You can reach them either on the web portal or in the VHealth app, with the user ID and password you were given when you registered, and you can read them or download them.
You do not need to ring to ask whether a report is ready. A text is sent to the mobile number on your registration when it is. Printed copies can be collected from the hospital whenever it suits you, and the consultant sees the same report in your record.

Pay a bill
The payment page is open at any hour and takes credit cards, debit cards and internet banking. You can look over the charges before you pay.
If a bill is going through insurance or a TPA, the Guest Relation Executive handles the pre-authorisation and the claim, not you.

Book or move an appointment
You can request an appointment on this website. Pick the speciality and the doctor, give your name and mobile number, confirm the one-time password, and the hospital rings you back to fix the slot.
The patient system books directly against the doctor's own time slots. If you would rather speak to someone, the appointment desk and WhatsApp both work.

Book a CT or MRI scan
Scans have their own request form on the patient system, separate from the consultation booking. Have the request your doctor wrote to hand.
Radiology and the labs sit next to the outpatient clusters, so a test ordered at a consultation is usually done in the same visit.

Order medicines again
Prescriptions written at the hospital reach the pharmacy electronically, so the envelope is usually ready before you walk over. The outpatient pharmacy also takes prescription orders online, and medicines are delivered to your home at no extra charge within 20 km of the hospital.
There is no page on this website for a repeat order, and the VHealth app is the route the hospital built for it. Until we can point you to the app, ring the hospital and ask for the outpatient pharmacy, and they will take it from there.
- Phone +91 40 4699 9999 and ask for the outpatient pharmacy

Speak to a doctor without travelling
The hospital consults at a distance by video call, for follow-up advice, going over a report or reviewing a prescription. It is meant for people for whom the journey itself is the obstacle.
If you are getting worse rather than following up, come in instead of waiting for a call.

Signing in the first time
Your user ID and password are issued when you register at the hospital. The same pair signs you in to the Virinchi Web Portal and to the VHealth app, and they open your own record: your reports, your appointments and your bills.
The record is password protected and the clinical notes in it are open to the doctor treating you. If you were never given a login, or you have lost it, ring the hospital and ask for help with your patient system login.

If none of this works
A person at the hospital will do any of it for you. Say which of these you were trying to do and they will pick it up from there.
