- Carotid and renal angiography and stenting
- Cardiac CT and MRI
- Referral to the cardiothoracic team for bypass and valve surgery
How it works here
Diagnosis is done in-house: ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, CT, MRI and angiography. Angioplasty is done in the hospital's cath lab, and surgical cases go to the cardiothoracic team in the same building.
When to see us
If it feels like an emergency — chest pain, breathlessness, fainting, sudden weakness on one side, uncontrolled bleeding — call 040 4699 9999 or come to the ER now; do not book and wait.
- Breathlessness on walking, or ankles that swell by evening
- Palpitations, or a heartbeat that races or skips
